Jointly with the Town of Colonie and the Village of Menands, Watervliet recently hosted a Route 32 Linkage Study - Community Workshop at the Watervliet Elks. The area being studied in the transportation and land use planning study spans from the junction of Rt. 378 in Menands north to the South gate of the Watervliet Arsenal.  The goal of the study is to make Route 32 a more effective corridor for all forms of traffic – cars, bicycles and pedestrians – as well as to encourage transit friendly land use development in the corridor.
