The meeting will be held at the J. Leo O'Brien Senior Services Center
Planning Board workshop meeting to be held on Monday, May 21, 2012 at 7:00PM
The meeting will be held at the J. Leo O'Brien Senior Services Center
Zoning Board meeting will be held on Wednesday, May 16, 2012 at 7:00PM
The meeting will be held in the City Court adjacent to City Hall
Public Hearing will be held on Wednesday May 30, 2012 at 7:00 PM at
the J. Leo O'Brien Senior Services Center.
This hearing will be pursuant to General City Law 83 on the re-zoning petition filed by Nigro
Companies, Inc.

Street Cleaning Program to Begin

The Department of Refuse and Recycling has announced they will begin cleaning streets on Thursday, May 17th. During these time periods there will be no parking
in the designated areas.

The schedule is as follows:

Thursday May 17th - East side of Broadway throughout the entire City 8 am - 12 noon

Friday May 18th - West side of Broadway throughout the entire City 8am -12 noon

Monday May 21st - East Side of First Ave throughout the entire City 8am - 12 noon

Tuesday May 22nd - West Side of First Ave throughout the entire City 8am - 12 noon

Wednesday May 23rd - East side of 2nd Ave throughout the entire City 8 am – 12 noon

Thursday May 24th - West side of 2nd Ave throughout the entire City 8am -12 noon

Tuesday May 29th - East side of 3rd Ave throughout the entire City (see signs for times )

Wednesday May 30th - West side of 3rd Ave throughout the entire City (see signs for times)

Thursday May 31st - East side of 4th Ave throughout the entire City 8am -12 noon

Friday June 1st - West side of 4th Ave throughout the entire City 8 am - 12 noon

Citywide garage sale to be held June 9th & 10th

A citywide garage sale is planned to take place in Watervliet on Friday, June 8th, Saturday, June 9th and Sunday, June 10, 2012. There will be no rain dates.

The City will map out and list, on the interactive mapping section of our website, your address, days and hours you wish to hold the sale on your property.
The normal $10 permit fee will be waived for this weekend’s sale.

All unsold items at the end of the sale must be cleared from the property according to the City’s Refuse and Recycling codes. Please do not block the public right of way (sidewalks, etc.).

If you wish to have your garage sale placed on the map and list, please contact Phyllis at 270-3800 ext. 100 no later than 3:00 PM, Thursday, June 7th. If leaving a
message, please leave your name, address, phone number, the day or days (Friday, Saturday, Sunday or ALL) and the hours (e.g. 9AM to 4 PM) you will be holding your sale.
