The City of Watervliet is currently home to over 10,000 residents and is a livable, walkable community with many transportation options along with affordable housing and strong connected neighborhoods. Situated along the Hudson River, the City is strategically located in the Capital District and is within short walking and driving distances to surrounding communities.

This website will provide you with details for all City of Watervliet departments including contact information, event calendars, city ordinances, zoning maps, volunteer opportunities and parks and recreation activities. Residents are encouraged to sign up for Nixle, used by our Emergency Management team, to provide important information during emergencies.
